THE BURTON DENIM HAUL

Happy Sunday Everyone! Hope you've all had a lovely week, I'm back today with another Burton Haul. Specifically a denim haul! If you haven't read my first Burton Haul you can click *here* and have a read. Back to today, Burton recently had an offer on their Jeans. I think it was 2 pairs for £45 which is amazing because I think Jeans are quite expensive! ! And so I went a little cray ...

p.s this photo took me forever and a day to edit ...

In total I picked up five pairs, I wanted because as I mentioned there was a deal on! But I could only find five that I really liked. They were all a in the 'Stretch Skinny' fabric/range that Burton do. I find that these are the best fit for me. I'm not the skinniest person out there and so most jeans in my size seem to be straight legged or boot-cut. But I don't think they do any favours to my size. Here's what I added to my basket!

Dark Wash Skinny Jeans - The first of the five are these Dark Washed Jeans, I've not had a pair of blue jeans in like forever. I went through a Grey phase for a while and most of Jeans were always a variation of a Grey wash! I'm quite happy with these, I'm still figuring out what to wear them with but I'm sure I'll think of something!

Washed Black Skinny Jeans - So these look super grey in the picture but they are a Washed Black ... I promise! I love these Jeans. They fit amazingly I think they're my favourite out of all of them! Because of the colour they go really well with nearly everything in my wardrobe!

Black Rip-Knee Skinny Jeans - Okay, so Jeans with a ripped knee have been everywhere recently ... like everywhere! And I really wanted a pair but at first they were really hard to find in my size #sadface but then Burton came to the rescue! I was so happy with them that I bought two!

Bright Blue Vintage Skinny Jeans - These are probably the ones that I'm least sure about, they're a really vibrant blue and as I said I haven't had blue Jeans in ages let alone bright blue ones! But I think they'd be really good for the summer with some white trainers and a white tee!

Washed Black Rip-Knee Skinny Jeans - Last but not least is the second pair of ripped skinny's that I got! And as you can probably guess I'm super excited about these! Like the second pair they show up quite grey in the picture but they're acctually an acid-y washed black! These go super well with a lot of my wardrobe and work really well if I want to add an edge to any of my outfits!

Hope you guys enjoyed this haul ... because ... well I certainly am enjoying what I bought! Haha! Let me know if you guys have picked up any denim recently! Also let me know which ones are your favourites or how you would style them! Leave your comments below and I shall be back next week!

THE NIOXIN HAIR SYSTEM REVIEW

Happy Sunday Everyone! A few months ago I introduced you guys to 'The Nioxin Hair System Kit' and I today I'm doing a little review. Its been around three months since I picked it up and I recently finished the kit. Now generally I only blog about things that I've used and loved, if it's something I've picked up and didn't like I wouldn't write about it. But in the post I said I'd let you guys know how I get on ... so here goes!

Now if you guys read the original post you would have noticed that there is a third product which is a 'Scalp Treatment' but I think I threw that away after it finished ... #awkward! Back to the review! So the treatment was recommended to me by my hair stylist because I was looking for something that would bring life and lustre back to my hair and she said that this might be something that could work? It was quite expensive , well I think so anyway, Its was £40 odd pounds for the kit and so I kind of expected it to work miracles. Oh was I proven wrong! I was told that I need to allow at least six months to see a difference but my scalp just did not agree with this stuff! It made my scalp super dry and quite flaky ... gross I know but I'm being honest! I used this stuff religiously and to be fair it did feel like it was working. I think there's mint or something in the formula and it tingles your scalp but that's about it? Unfortunately this product really didn't wow me ... I know I haven't used it for the full six months but I'm a little impatient and ideally I want something that works a little quicker or at least start showing signs of improvement by this stage? I do want to say however that this is what I personally thought of the treatment, it may work wonders for someone out there but for me ... not so much! Since the bottles are empty I needed some more hair care and so I went out picked up some more L'Oreal Fibrology Shampoo and Conditioner which I also did a review on a while ago, you can click *here* to head over and have a peek! I much prefer this stuff, it's much cheaper and there's a visible difference!

Hope you guys enjoyed this little review! Let me know if you guys have used Nioxin before I would love to know how you guys got on with the treatment. Or let me know if there's anything out there that you guys would recommend to help bring the life and thickness back to my hair! Leave your comments or blog posts below!

THE BIRTHDAY PAMPER SESSION

Happy Sunday Everyone! This week I'm giving you guys the low down on my annual pamper session! Now I actually have a few pamper sessions but this one always seems a little bit more special because I always do it a few days before my Birthday! I've been doing this for a few years now and it's become a bit of a tradition for me! So I'm gonna take you through the steps I follow and also the products I like to use!

So! The pamper session begins with a face scrub and a good old steam! This year I used my Bulldog Original Face Scrub which featured in 'The Skincare Review - Bulldog' In previous years I've used the Grapefruit scrub from Neutrogena which leaves your face feeling super refreshed and awake! I applied the scrub quite liberally over my face, normally I would leave it on for a few minutes and wash off with a warm muslin cloth. However every now and then I like to have a steam whilst the scrub is still on! Steaming is really good for your skin as it can help unclog pores and also remove blackheads. I steamed for a round 10 minutes and then used a muslin cloth to remove the scrub. At this point there was a visible difference in my skin and it felt super smooth! You could stop here and apply some moisturiser or what I like to do is to pop on a Lush Face Mask! I've tried a few face masks but my all time favourite is Love Lettuce! It just leaves my skin feeling rejuvenated and clean! Once I've applied the mask I run myself a lovely warm bath ... I mean what is a pamper session without a bath! This year I picked up an Avobath! If you haven't visited Lush you need to go and take a good whiff of this bath bomb! Oh my it smells good! The bomb is packed with Olive Oil, Lemongrass, Bergamot Oils and most importantly mashed Avocado! I love how soft and nourished this leaves your skin, it's really good if you have problems with dry skin. The bomb transforms the water into a lovely shimmering green! If a want to have a little something extra I like to use the Prince Charming shower gel which was included in 'The Lush Haul - Valentine Edition'. I usually take my mask off in the bath because it's less messy? Another thing I love about Love Lettuce is that it has almond shells in the formula. so I like to wash it off in circular motions and this way you're exfoliating your skin at the same time! By this point my skin feels like heaven! The final step but I think the most important step is to make sure you lock in the softness and radiance with a good moisturiser! I've been loving the Elizabeth Arden Visible Difference Moisture Cream which featured in 'The Bathroom Shelf'.

Whether it's a special occasion or not, sometimes you need a good pamper session to relax and unwind! Let me know what you guys like to do when you want to pamper yourself! Leave your comments or blog posts below! I'd love to have a read! Hope you guys enjoyed this post and I'll be back again on Sunday with another post!

THE LIEBSTER AWARD

Happy Sunday Everyone! It's a super happy Sunday for me because the lovely Jessica Marie has nominated me and a bunch of other Bloggers for the Liebster Award. Now for me this is massive! I have been blogging for just over a year and to be welcomed and accepted into this lovely community feels amazing! Jessica has asked me to answer a few questions which I have left below! I'm going to continue to share the love by nominating a few more bloggers, I'll leave them and the links below! A massive thank you once again to both Jessica and all of you lovely people out there for your love and support!

What inspired you to start blogging?
I wanted to start up a blog a few years before I set up Prim and Propa and actually made a few attempts, pretty rubbish attempts but I tried! One of my lovely friends Jade has a blog called Gracious Silhouettes and she pushed me in the right direction after I uploaded an Instagram OOTD. This later became my very first post! 'The Photo That Started It All'

How is your blog different from others?
This was quite a tricky question for me, I think every blog out there has its own unique style and flare. For me I think its super important to be yourself and sometimes I think that can be quite difficult through words! I always try to be myself and add my own personal touch to my posts! Also I haven't really seen a lot of male bloggers out there in the blogosphere so I guess that's another thing!

Current TV addiction?
OK, I'm gonna cheat here because I've got two ... Scandal and How To Get Away With Murder. #EnoughSaid

Preferred flavour popcorn?
Salted always! Toffee popcorn is a maybe but none of this sweetened stuff you get at the cinema haha!

What's your signature recipe?
Ermm, okay truth time I don't really cook much. But I do make some mean Egg Fried Bread ... YUM!

Most treasured item of clothing?
Moment of silence please ... I had to get rid of this item in the summer because it was just beyond the point of wearable. Anyone who knows me will be able to answer this question ... It's my River Island Waterfall Sleeveless Cardigan! Honestly it was a staple in my wardrobe it went with everything and anything! I will miss it dearly!

If you were a character from a book, Who would it be?
I don't really know! But I want to be someone extravagant, happy, bubbly, caring and stylish! So if there's a character like that ... It's me! Haha!

Dream Job?
I would love love love to be a fashion stylist, that's my aim in life!

Describe your ideal Sunday afternoon.
Snuggled up on the sofa with a blanket and a Disney movie, that normally hits the spot! #ThumbsUp

Early bird or night owl?
I am most definitely a night owl! When I was in College and even now I always work best when it's night time, for some reason I tend to be more inspired after sunset!

What would you attempt to do if you knew you could not fail?
I would ... move to London and try to achieve my dream job! Or even New York! I wouldn't want it to be smooth sailing because I think it's good to have hurdles, it puts things into perspective but I would love to achieve my dreams! Wouldn't anyone?

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! I can't tell you guys how happy I am to be nominated it means so much to me! Now I wasn't sure how many people to nominate but most blogs have said 11, so I have selected a few below! Please pop over and have a read of their lovely blogs! Also here are my 11 Questions for my nominees to answer should they chose to accept!

What colour would you describe yourself as? Favourite Disney Movie? What inspires you to write? Instagram or Twitter? Tell us a little bit about your blog? Explain your style in 3 words. Which city would you love to live in? Bath or Shower? Name your all time favourite movie. What blogs are you loving at the moment?

THE SPRING FAIR TRIP

Happy Sunday Everyone! This week me and two of my friends took a trip down to the NEC Arena in Birmingham to visit the Spring Fair! We left quite early in the morning so I was super tired when we set off and also quite hungry! I woke up a little earlier than planned so I didn't have time to eat any breakfast, this meant a quick stop at a service station! As a child I used to love stopping at service stations,  no idea why but it was always so exciting! And this time didn't let me down either because I got to have Krispy Kreme Doughnuts for breakfast! Healthy right? Haha! I'm a bit bored with all the fancy ones now my favourite are the original glazed! So tasty! We then hit the road again and not much later we had arrived! We picked up our passes and off we went to explore!

Now a little disappointing but I was told I wasn't allowed to take any photos which is super annoying because I really wanted to be able to show you guys what was there! But I'll do my best to explain what we did, We started off with homeware and this to me was the most exciting! I love homeware and I felt like a child in a sweetshop ... only I wasn't allowed to buy anything. Because this is a Buying show it is mainly for companies to view on what's new in the next season and they can deal with the designers directly in buying bulk product for a lower price. There were so many things I saw that I wanted to buy but unfortunately I wasn't able to buy just one *sad face* We still had a good look around and I felt super inspired by it all, the displays were amazing! I wanted to go crazy and redecorate my whole house!

Once we were done with homeware we moved onto Christmas! Which was magical but also really weird! It felt strange walking into a Winter Wonderland seeing as we Christmas has only just finished, but it was all so beautiful. One tree which really stood out was a vibrant and colourful black tree decorated with teals, purples, pinks and gold! The tree was decorated with glitter baubles, flowers and peacocks! My friends were in love with the tree ... I thought it was gorgeous but a bit too much? If you guys have read my .... you will know I have a monochrome tree and its very me! If that makes sense haha!

We then skimmed Flowers and Childrens toys before we got to the gift section where I visited a stand named Imabari Towels Japan. Most of the stalls we visited were super businessy and didn't really pay much attention to us once they realised we were not buyers or with a company. However the lovely lady at Imabari was super attentive and made sure I was okay. She was also super passionate about the brand. There was a particular hand towel that I was looking at which has white specks in the material. She told me that woven in the material was small bits of Japanese paper! But it was so soft you wouldn't think it was! We spoke for a while and I was leaving she handed me a little gift! Filled with lots of information about the company and a beautiful hand towel! If you want to read more about them please visit their website here!

We then visited the gift packaging and greeting card hall, my friend Priya is super into designing as is Suki so they were really into this section, I had a little mooch here and there and saw quite a few interesting stands! One in particular was a Pencil Shaving Card range by Ruth Jackson. I loved how quirky the designs were! We then walked over to the fashion and jewellery area, there was a fashion show on but it wasn't for another three hours and I was already tired from walking round! So unfortunately we missed that, the rest of the section was a little uninspiring for me ... there was nothing that stood out or caught my attention.

By this point all three of us were tired and a little warm so we thought it was right to head home! After walking to the car we set back off onto the motorway but we weren't done there! Oh no we made a cheeky stop at Nandos! We were absolutely starving, its very easy to over order at Nandos and I think thats exactly what I did! I had a fillet burger with chips, coleslaw and halloumi cheese! It felt so good to sit down and have some food! We were there for a few hours having a good old natter so we ordered a few hot drinks aswell! The girls had some herbal/fruit teas and I had a Hot Chocolate ... Just look at how amazing it looks!

It tasted as good as it looks! Yum! Hope you guys have enjoyed this post! It was definitely worth a visit but as I said I was a little disappointed I couldn't take any photos inside the exhibition to show you guys! Have any of you guys visited the Spring Fair? If so, what did you think! What was your highlights! Leave your comments below, I would love to know what you're thoughts are! Hope you guys have a lovely week and I shall see you next Sunday!

THE SOAP AND GLORY REVIEW - ORANGEASM AND SUGAR CRUSH

Happy Sunday Everyone! I was in Boots the other day and was mooching around the Soap and Glory section and thought I should pick something up. I've tried the Hand Food from Soap and Glory before but not much else but everyone is always raving about their stuff! I ended up picking two bath products! The Orangeasm Body Wash and The Sugar Crush Body Scrub!

I'm going to start off with Sugar Crush and its oh so amazing scent! I have heard so many bloggers and you tubers say that this is the best smelling product from Soap and Glory and I agree 100%! The scent is just so refreshing and really wakes you up when you use it in the morning! I absolutely love citrus smells and so its not a surprise that I love this! The scent of this beauty comes from sweet limes, sparkling lemons and sweet vanilla musk! I don't really use a lot of body scrubs because I always thought they were a bit faffy, if that makes any sense. But if you have the time it is definitely worth the effort! Its fab to use on your knees and elbows, I tend to use it more on the elbows as they feel slightly rough. I have to say after one use they do feel a lot smoother, I think that's down to the almond, macadamia and glycerin oils as well as the sea salt and brown sugar.

Can I just say I think Soap and Glory are so good at naming their products! They always have such fun and quirky names ... as you can see with the next thing I picked up. Orangeasm! This moisturising body wash is scented with green mandarin, lemon and sweet orange peels. It's not as strong as Sugar Crush but it's more of a soft lingering scent. I was amazed at how much the product lathers, when I pumped it out it was a very thick creamy consistency and I didn't expect it to lather as much! So if you love bubbles you will love this! It also leaves your skin feeling super soft, on the website it says that this comes from their exclusive MSUDS technology (no idea) Triple Tea Antioxidant Complex, Ginseng and Pinkpepperberry! It comes in a massive bottle so which I think is amazing, it will definitely last you a good while!

Hope you guys liked this little review! Let me know if you have any thoughts or opinions on these two beauties, leave your comments and blog posts below! I love hearing what you guys have to say! Have a lovely week and I'll see you next Sunday!
