THE LUSH HAUL - VALENTINES EDITION

Happy Sunday Everyone! With Valentines Day just around the corner every single store on the high street is full of lots of lovely treats to buy your other half! I on the other hand have no one to buy for ... so I did what I do best! Buy some treats for myself! I went into Lush the other week for a new shaving cream and got super excited when I saw that their Valentine collection was on display! Strangely enough I didn't actually buy anything from the range last year, there just wasn't anything that called out at me. This year however ... Yes Gawd!

I picked up four bits from the range, the first being something that I did pick up last year and that's the Prince Charming Shower Cream. This stuff smells like sweet heaven! But just the right amount of sweet if that makes sense? I'm one of those that like Snow Fairy, but it can be a little intense for some people, if you like a sweet scent but prefer it to be slightly softer this is definitely something that I would recommend you pick up! The first Bath Bomb I popped into my basket was Cupid! This bath bomb has a super soft sweet undertone with rose, bergamot and violet leaf! The next one I picked up was the Lover Lamp Bath Bomb! This beauty is scented with Vanilla and Brazilian Orange Oil, it's also super good for you skin because it's packed with Cocoa Butter! The bomb will slowly fizz away in your bath water turning it into a milky colour, but the real magic happens when the little hearts break away and float through your bath! Finally I treated myself to the Rose Bombshell which is a rose scented Bath Bomb ... obviously haha! It has yellow rose petals, rose absolute and rose oil! Just like the Lover Lamp this bomb also has a magical surprise! As the outer shell fizzes away your bath is filled with a lovely lemon aroma and rose petals! THE SCENT | LADY GAGA - FAME

Happy Sunday Everyone! Today I thought I would do another post dedicated to one of my favourite scents! Lady Gaga, Fame is a scent that was first released back in 2012 and I had one of the smaller bottles once it was released! I remember the immense hype behind the scent ... the name, the advert, the bottle! If I'm right it's one of the first if not the only black liquid scent! Like everyone else I forgot about this scent and how amazing it was, but a few weeks ago when I was in Sainsbury's I spotted the bottle in the beauty aisles ... we all know what happened next! #StraightInMyBasket!

The crowning glory of this fragrance is definitely the packaging, to me the bottle seems to be inspired by an egg ... remember guys this is GaGa we're talking about here! And the cap is a claw, obviously! I can't tell how you good this looks on my desk with all my other bottle of fragrances. I know it sounds silly because the scent should make the lasting impression when buying a new fragrance but lets be honest, we all spend a few minutes admiring the bottle! Now with this being a scent targeted mainly for women this has a feminine scent for those of you that don't feel comfortable with men wearing a scent targeted for women, I get it. But at the end of the day a scent is a scent! And this guy wants to smell like Fame! #SassAttack! There are three main accords within the formula of the scent - Dark, Sensual and Light. Unlike other scents Fame doesn't utilise top or base notes, instead all notes within the scent work together to create a sweet symphony! The main notes of the fragrance are belladonna, incense, honey, saffron, apricot and tiger orchid ... which all sound so luxurious! I'm not very good at describing scents but I'll give it a try anyway! For me the fragrance is definitely an evening scent and is quite rich. There's definitely an essence of fruit in the mix but its quite dark ... told you I wasn't very good haha! I do think that if you're after a fun but sophisticated evening scent this may be one to keep on your radar! I hope you guys liked this post! See you next Sunday for another dose of Prim!
