THE DISNEY PERSONALITY TAG

Happy Sunday Everyone! I don't know about you guys but I'm still on a bit of a come down from Christmas! I've basically just spent the last few days watching my favourite Christmas movies, sat in my pjs and eating anything within reaching distance haha! And so I thought I would do a little tag for you guys, purely because it's easy reading haha! Again I was tagged by the lovely Jamie of 'Once Upon a Blog', so big love to Jamie! Hope you guys enjoy 'The Disney Personality Tag'!

Snow White - Do You Consider Yourself Beautiful?
I'm not going to lie ... I'm quite vain, there's a few reasons behind it but if you're close to me you'll know it's a bit of a front. Although there are a lot of things I would like to change about myself I do think I am beautiful, on the inside and that's where it counts.

Sleeping Beauty - How Many Hours Do You Sleep At Night?
I love my sleep. I'm one of those people that can nap anywhere but I don't actually get as much sleep as I would like. I love the weekends when you can lie in the covers and just spend a bit of time thinking! I do actually get the 'recommended' eight hours though!

Cinderella - Do You Have A Curfew?
Luckily, no! If I'm in the spirit I can be a right party animal haha! But other nights there's nothing I love more than snuggling up in front of the TV and falling asleep before nine ... see I told you, I'm a party animal haha!

Rapunzel - Do You Love Being Outside?
It depends what mood I'm in, I love a walk when it's a crisp cold night and sometimes I even love walking in the rain. But then if it's too cold or too warm I'll definitely stay inside!

Beauty and the Beast - What Makes Someone Beautiful In Your Eyes?
There's a few things, when someone is genuine, caring and kind, but to me it's when you can trust someone with anything and you know they will be by your side through it all!

Pinocchio - What Is Your Biggest Wish?
To be happy.

Peter Pan - What Is Your Mental Age?
This can change throughout the day haha! I can throw a tantrum like a toddler, I can be imaginative like a child. When things get serious I can be mature like an adult. But most of the time I'm fun and bubbly! I think my mental age is probably my actual age!

Hope you guys enjoyed this little tag! Please feel free to do your own version and leave a link in the comments or tweet me so that I can have a read of yours! I can't believe in a few days we will be saying goodbye to 2015! How quickly did that go! Have a lovely week and I shall be back next year ... get it? Haha!

THE FOOD DIARY - THE GRANGE FARM | THE TWELVE DAYS OF BLOGMAS

Happy Friday Everyone and welcome to the final post of 'The Twelve Days Of Blogmas'! I can't believe we've reached the end, let alone the fact that it is officially Christmas Day! I hope you guys have a lovely Christmas no matter what you get up to. Me ... well I'll be spending the day in my jim jams watching some of my favourite movies and eating LOTS of food! Talking of food, for the final Blogmas post I thought I would add to 'The Food Diary'! My last one seemed to go down really well with you guys and so when me and my friends decided to meet up for our annual Christmas meal at The Grange Farm, I decided to 'borrow' my brothers big camera to take lots of photos with!

I love The Grange Farm anyway, but at Christmas time it's so special! We had a table booked for half seven and to my surprise it was quiet! I booked the table about a week before and I honestly wasn't expecting them to say they could squeeze us in! But they could and I'm so glad that we went! The inside is super cosy, it was like eating at home! And the service was fantastic! The waitress we had was so fun and bubbly, it was like she was one of us! When we were seated and comfortable she came over to take our drinks order, as I was driving I went for an amazing mocktail! Annoyingly I can't for the life of me remember what it was called but there's a picture below! If I remember rightly, we were all starving and so we ordered a few starters! If you know me at all, you'll know I love cheese and so it was only fair to order the baked camembert with an onion chutney relish and sourdough bread! Are your mouths watering yet? Because trust me when I say it was so nice! We also got some olives and some garlic bread with cheese ... because the camembert wasn't enough cheese haha! Just as we'd finished our starters the mains began to appear! Now, we had a little bit of a mare with the mains ... I really wanted to have the turkey but they were all out! So instead I had the slow-raosted pork belly with all the trimmings! Apart from it being quite salty, which, to be fair the waitress did warn me about, it was gorgeous! I'm not normally one to eat a lot of my veg but oh my, the parsnips and the carrots were cooked to perfection! Arti and I both had the pork whereas the others went for some of the other options such as the slow-roasted half shropshire chicken, fillet of sea bass and the chicken and leek pie! And all of them looked just as tasty ... apart from the sea bass, but that's just because I don't like fish! After a quick selfie session we then asked for the ever important dessert menu! Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually too fond of chocolate desserts, I'm not going to say no to a chocolate bar but I just prefer something a little more fruity and so I decided to go for the cherry bakewell panna cotta! Although part of me wishes I went for the peanut butter, chocolate and toffee cheesecake that Suki went for! The other two girls went for the belgian chocolate brownie whereas Jairaj stuck to his glass of vino! It was one of those nights that I'll remember forever! Good food and good friends, what else could I ask for!

I really hope you guys have enjoyed 'The Twelve Days Of Blogmas'! I most definitely have! When I was first thinking of blogging at this time of year I was hoping to do a post each day but with work and whatnot it was something I knew I wouldn't be able to do. I always make sure that I'm passionate about whatever I write about and so each post has a lot of effort poured into it! I think 'The Twelve Days Of Blogmas' is going to be a Prim and Propa Christmas tradition!

Hope you all have a fantastic Christmas and feel free to have a look through the other days of Blogmas if you haven't had a chance! Lots of love!

THE CHRISTMAS PARTY | THE TWELVE DAYS OF BLOGMAS

Happy Tuesday Everyone and welcome to Day Eleven of 'The Twelve Days of Blogmas! I can't believe how close we are to the end ... It's all come around so quickly! I mean there are only three more days until Christmas! I thought I would share my Christmas Party with you guys today. It was a work party that took place at the Hilton Metropole in Birmingham and boy is that place fancy! We got there just after six because I'm no good with directions and we missed a turning haha! But once we got there Tara and I decided we were going to treat ourselves and upgrade to an executive suite ... I know right! I'm so glad we did because the room was the perfect size for two divas like us! Once we made ourselves at home we both got everything out of our suitcases and started getting ready! In true prim style I was the last to get ready but we looked good so it was okay! A few failed selfies later ... I blame the lighting in the room! We made our way down to the 'Great Hall' where the food was served. Now any Harry Potter fans would have picked up on the name of the room! That's because the part was Harry Potter themed!! It was so cool! I met Hagrid and Harry and even saw the back of Snape! Although I would have been a little more excited to see Bellatrix or Voldemort! Once we had finished our roast and had a little boogie to 'All I Wan't For Christmas' everyone was moved into the dance room! It was all decked out with lights and was very much like what I would imagine a club ran by Elsa would look like! It wasn't long before Lemar popped on stage to sing a few of his classic hits! I LOVED IT! I mean who doesn't love a bit of 50/50! We then had Lily Allen who had a DJ set and although she played a few good tunes most of them were a bit meh! So me and Tara went to go get our astrology read and did a little bop head video! We then popped back into the dance room to see that Lemar was on stage again! He was playing some amazing songs! There was a lot of diva dancing from me! Imagine lots of finger snapping haha!! Oh and I also did a few 'slut drops' that my thighs are still paying for ... on the last one I actually sat down and couldn't get back up again! We spent the rest of the night dancing with a lot of lovely people before heading back to our room! I don't know about you guys but when I have a little something ... or a lot to drink I get very hungry! And all we had in the room was a bottle of coke and some crisps! We were going to order some room service but we ... meaning Tara decided we were going to do a full on skin care session! I was so tired that I washed my face quickly and just watched Tara do her routine haha! Once our skin was feeling all fresh we sat on the bed in our PJ's and had some more munchies whilst having a good old natter! We even managed to do a quick breathalyser! I was way over but that's fine because we were staying over haha! The next morning I woke up at about ten and had a quick shower ... T on the other hand could have slept all day! Her phone went off at 11 and somehow she snoozed it and threw it on the floor ... she's not a morning person! Once she was ready and we had checked out we went on the hint for some food! Once again I managed to mess things up with directions, we wanted a Frankie and Benny's and we somehow managed to end up at the airport! So we then decided to have a good old Maccy D's where we basically ordered the whole menu haha! I have to say it was one of the best Christmas parties I've been to and most of that was down to the people around me! I'm blessed to be surrounded by some lovely people at work! Sorry the post has been a little rambly but I could go on forever! So I'll leave you with a few pictures of the night instead!

THE YANKEE CANDLE - HOLIDAY MAGIC | THE TWELVE DAYS OF BLOGMAS

Happy Sunday Everyone! We're at day ten of Blogmas already! I can't believe how quickly this has all come around! Only five days left till Christmas! I'm starting to feel super festive and of course with that comes some more Yankee Candles! To be specific, Holiday Magic! I mean what else am I going to burn so close to Christmas? This scent was actually not included in the little votive set I bought but as I was sniffing away at the different jars Asda had out I came across this beauty! Holiday Magic definitely has notes of cinnamon, it smells very warm and spicy! It also has a mix of bayberry, clove and balsalm fir. This to me is one to burn on a cold winters night, wrapped in blankets with a mug of hot chocolate and a good old Christmas movie! I've been burning this for a few nights and it's still going strong ... I really don't want it to end! The wax is a beautiful deep, almost burgundy red, alongside Christmas Morning my fireplace looks super festive! I know Christmas is nearly over I still want to buy some more candles ... I mean I can burn Christmas candles through January right? Right!?

THE BURTS BEES ACAI BERRY LIP BALM | THE TWELVE DAYS OF BLOGMAS

Happy Friday Everyone! And welcome to Day Nine of 'The Twelve Days Of Blogmas! Earlier in the year I shared my love for Burts Bees with 'The Burt's Bees Wild Cherry Lip Balm' ... and the love is as strong as ever! There's just something about this time of year that makes my lips all horrible and dry! It's not fun. I was looking for a new lip balm and I actually wanted to pick up an EOS Lip Balm but they're a bit expensive in the shops around me, although I've been told you can get a better price online! Anyway when I was spending the day getting all festive with Arti and Hannah my lips began to split and I knew there was only one thing that would save them! I don't know why but the amazingness that is Burt's Bees does my lips wonders. I love trying new ones every now and then and whilst I was snooping around I found an Acai Berry one! Now I don't know what benefits Acai Berries have when it comes to skincare or your lips but this stuff is just amazing, can I just say the first thing I love is the scent! It's beautiful! But other than that, It is actually a really good lip balm! I would definitely recommend picking this up as a nice stocking filler or even as a little treat for yourself!

THE FESTIVE DAY OUT | THE TWELVE DAYS OF BLOGMAS

Happy Wednesday Everyone! Its Day Eight of 'The Twelve Days Of Blogmas' and today I'm going to share a very lovely day I spent with two of my besties! #Clones! Although I've been doing Blogmas, the trees up and I have surrounded myself with Christmas goodness, I haven't yet started to feel the special feeling of Christmas. However that all changed on Saturday when I met up with Arti and Hannah! As Han was down for the weekend the three of us decided to meet up and have a fun day out! I drove down to Artis around midday and whilst the two girls were getting ready I had 99 Souls - The Girl Is Mine on repeat ... you can't tell me you haven't heard that song! It's my new addiction haha! We then drove into town to find some food! We checked out a few places around the Highcross and we decided to go to Wagamamas! Now don't judge me ... but before Saturday I was a Waga-Virgin. But I can happily tell you it was amazing! So tasty! We then had a little mooch around the Highcross and I did a little Secret Santa shopping before we headed outside to take all the Selfies! It was honestly such a fun day that I can't even pick out which bits I loved the most! So instead I'm just going to show you!

THE LOVE HATE TAG | THE TWELVE DAYS OF BLOGMAS

Happy Monday Everyone! And welcome the seventh day of 'The Twelve Days Of Blogmas', I have been lucky enough to be asked to take part in a few tags over Blogmas and I've decided the first one I'm going to share with you guys is 'The Love Hate Tag'! I was tagged by the lovely Jamie of 'Once Upon A Blog'! Make sure you guys head over to her blog and have a read ... If you guys like Disney you'll love her blog!

If you know me you'll know I'm quite a dramatic person ... #NoShame, which means if I love something I LOVE it! Brace yourselves guys because there's going to be a lot of rambling from here on haha! Okay so I love my family ... not all of them sadly but a close few. My friends who are probably some of the most important people in my lives. I love all things fashion, style and beauty. I love my car. I love music, movies etc. I love my phone ... which I know is a bit materialistic but I do! I love my bed, because who doesn't love sleep! Oh and I love food! Now I'm sure I've missed like a thousand things of this list but it's quite hard to reel off a list of things you love! Now for things that I hate ... personally I think hate is a really strong word and theres only a select few things that I can honestly say I hate, so instead I'm going to list a few things that I dislike! Such as rude people ... there's no need and it's just not nice. Crowds, I just end up feeling panicky or grumpy haha! I really don't like mushrooms, I think its the texture it's just gross. I think this one I can actually say I hate ... Bullying, Having been bullied myself when I was younger I know how horrible it is. That's about all I can think of at the moment ... Oh wait! I remembered another few things that I love! I love jewellery, shopping, dancing and fizzy drinks! Mmmm!

THE LUSH REVIEW - CRANBERRY | THE TWELVE DAYS OF BLOGMAS

Happy Saturday Everyone! I can't believe we are halfway through 'The Twelve Days Of Blogmas' ... It's Day Six! With Christmas comes Christmas Parties and one thing I always try to do is take care of my skin! After all theres going to be a lot of selfie opportunities and I want my face to look flawless! I am definitely one for a pamper session and one thing I always have to hand is a Lush Face Mask! If you read my 'Don't Look At Me Review', you would have seen that I mentioned I wanted to try the new 'Cranberry' mask and I finally managed to get my hands on one! The colour of the mask is a beautiful soft pastel pink and as the name suggests, it's packed full of gently exfoliating cranberries. I love a mask that helps exfoliate the skin as well as cleanse and the formula is also infused with fennel seeds which helps get rid of the oil and dirt packed onto your skin. I like to apply the mask either with a basic flat foundation brush or my fingers, the tub recommends to let it sit on the skin for around 10-15 minutes and depending on the amount of time I have, I always try to leave it on for around 15 minutes just to let all the goodness of the mask sink in! I then use a flannel with some warm water to wash it off, with an exfoliating mask I always to try to make most of the mask and use the flannel in circular motions to help give my skin that little extra TLC! My skin felt so incredibly beautiful once I had patted my face dry, it was so amazing! I believe this is down to the argan oil and rose clay! I'm actually quite sad that the mask is only going to be around for Christmas, I'm definitely going to pick another one up before they run out!

THE YANKEE CANDLE - CHRISTMAS MORNING | THE TWELVE DAYS OF BLOGMAS

Happy Thursday Everyone! And welcome to Blogmas Day Five! If you guys have seen my earlier posts through Blogmas you would have seen I bought a little votive set from Yankee Candle! Some of the scents I just loved way too much and one I'm especially fond of is Christmas Morning! This stuff smells A-Mazing! It has hints of fruit such as pears and a citrus kick too, but it also smells quite warm and earthy, like a Christmas tree! The colour as you can see is a beautiful deep forest green, which says Christmas to me instantly! I picked this up from Asda for £9.00, I don't think Asda stock all of the candles that Yankee do at this time of year but I think for price it's a complete steal! The burn time is supposed to be 75 hours which again I think is absolutely amazing! I will definitely be burning this all throughout Christmas!

THE BODY SHOP CHRISTMAS HAND CREAMS | THE TWELVE DAYS OF BLOGMAS

Happy Tuesday Everyone its Blogmas Day Four! We're a quarter of the way through and I thought I'd do a little beauty / skincare post today! This time of year makes my skin go a little bit cray sometimes and moisturiser becomes an every day essential! Some of the other things that I always carry around with me is lip balm and hand cream! I popped into The Body Shop the other week and I picked up not one but all of their hand creams from their Christmas range! I purchased the trio separately but I think they would make such cute stocking fillers. The ones I picked up were 'Glazed Apple'. 'Frosted Cranberry' and 'Frosted Plum'! Surprisingly I don't really have a favourite, I think they're all smell just as beautiful as each other! For the moment I have started using the plum hand cream at work but I'm sure the other two will make their way into my drawers at work very soon! The formula of the cream is quite runny which is something I'm not quite used to. I normally use quite thick hand creams because they normally work in to the skin so well and don't linger at all. And although you do need to work these hand creams into your skin, once they've settled my hands feel super soft and the scent is really lovely and subtle, not too overpowering!

THE CHRISTMAS TREE DECORATIONS | THE TWELVE DAYS OF BLOGMAS

Happy Sunday Everyone! And welcome to the third day of 'The Twelve Days Of Blogmas', I hope you guys are loving my posts so far! I'm so used to writing just once a week but I'm having a lot of fun typing up a new post every other day! Now I don't know about you guys but Christmas for me doesn't begin until my tree is up, last year I decided to give my tree a refresh so I popped into The Range to have a look at the decorations they had on offer. I was so surprised with the amount of choice they had! So this year I decided to head back to see what else they had! I want to try and make this a little tradition, every year I want to pick up a selection of tree decorations and add them to my collection! This year I found myself drawn to the glass decorations they had out and so I picked up a two different glass ones and one pretty similar to something I picked up last year! You can have a look at what I got last year here ... 'The Christmas Tree'. But for now, heres what I treated myself to this year!

The first one I picked up was a teardrop glass bauble. For some reason the glass ones they had really caught my eye but I must have missed all the good ones because there wasn't many left. I did see a lot more choice with the gold ones but I have a theme for my tree and I have to stick to it! Haha! The bauble has a bunch of jewels just nestled at the top which I think looks really beautiful against the simplicity of the bauble! The next one I picked up is basically a different take on the white one I purchased last year. It's made from a perspex acrylic which, in the light creates a multi-colour effect! The part I love most about the decoration is the bottom, which is dipped in a gorgeous silver and white glitter! The last one I picked up is my favourite of the bunch! Like the first bauble this one again is made of glass and from the way the hook sits, I'm pretty sure it's hand blown! Which for the price is amazing. This little cutie is a small glass bird which has a dainty painted flower and crystal gems. I've used tree hooks to put all of my baubles on and the bird just looks so cute sat on the ends of the branches!

THE YANKEE CANDLE - CHRISTMAS VOTIVE SET | THE TWELVE DAYS OF BLOGMAS

Happy Wednesday Everyone! And welcome to the first day of Twelve Days Of Blogmas! Today I wanted to tell you guys all about my Yankee Candle votive set I picked up from Asda. As you guys will be well aware I love candles and no one does them quite like Yankee Candles! I used to buy the votives all the time, Asda sell them for a pound each and I'm pretty sure that's the cheapest I've ever seen them at. But then again they don't last very long if you use them like I do! But it's a really good idea to pick one up if you ever want to know if you're going to like the scent before you pick up one of the jars!

The set comes with a total of six votives however I'm sure Asda did a few other sets where you could get 3 or 12, they even had a few gift sets of the wax melts which I might also be picking up ... because why not right? The first one in the pack is Christmas Treats, now I actually had a quick sniff of the jar with this scent and I really didn't like it. It was way too strong, I've never really been fond of the baking ones but! I'm quite excited to find out what it smells like once lit because I know from experience that they don't always smell like they do in the jar! You then have Christmas Morning which is one of my favourites! I've already picked up a Jar of this one and I'll do a full review for it very soon! Candy Cane Forest doesn't smell as sweet as you think it would, and if I'm honest I did quite want it to have a super sweet scent. I've got this one lit in my kitchen at the moment and it's super subtle. Savour The Season is one of those classic Christmas scents, it's a little strong on the cinnamon when you first have a smell but I think it would be quite nice when lit! Sunlight Snow is definitely a bathroom scent, I think anyway. I can't quite put my finger on what it smells like but trust me it's so nice! Now I know I said Christmas Morning is one of my faves but Merry Berry is my actual favourite from the bunch! As you can make out from the name it is super fruity, which if I'm honest is one of my favourite type of candle scents! I feel like it would make your room smell like a fruity cocktail! Yum!
