THE URBAN OUTFITTERS HAUL

Happy Sunday Everyone! It was pay day weekend and we all know what that means ... Shopping!! I was doing a bit of christmas shopping and thought I would take a stroll round my local Urban Outfitters! Can I just say how beautiful the store is, it's only just opened up a while ago but I love how attentive they are detail in store. I think the only time I've been to an Urban Outfitters was when I was in London but now we have one in Leicester I find myself popping in for a snoop now and again. I'm not gonna lie, things aren't cheap there but boy are they amazing!! The things I love the most from there is the home items, I could have gone crazy but I stayed strong and only picked up three things! Here's what came with me to the tills!

The first thing I picked up was this Deer Ring Holder, I am in love with antlers at the moment, don't know if this is because of Christmas but I love it! I want to get a stag head for my room ... but my mum thinks its a bad idea, only because she'll get scared! Anyway I have quite a few rings but don't really have anywhere to keep them! I thought this would be really cute to pop on my desk and have somewhere to keep all my rings!

The next thing I picked up was this Skull Candle Holder ... Urban Outfitters have so many skull pieces! And I really want them all! When I was at the till there was a giant ivory skull with gold flowers in the eye sockets ... Sounds weird but it is super cool! I thought I'd start off my collection with a small candle holder. I absolutely love candles at this time of year and Yankee Candles have these Christmas themed tea lights that I could use with this! Match made in heaven!

Speaking of candles the last thing I picked up was a ... candle! I'm a till picker, I'm a real sucker for things that are laid out beautifully near the tills and even worse when they smell amazing. Honestly this candle smells so good that I had to pick one up and I wouldn't be suprised if I went back and picked up some more! It's called Candy Cane and it comes in this really cute tin, which I really like because when you're not using it you can close it and it stops the dust collecting. They have a few other candle scents but this one is my fave!

Let me know if you guys have been to Urban Outfitters recently and if you have what have you bought!! Leave your posts or comments below!

THE L'OREAL FIBROLOGY REVIEW

Happy Sunday Everyone! Hope we're all doing well, this week I thought I would do a little review for you guys. Now I might be a little late to jump on the bandwagon with L'oreal Paris' revolutionary Fibrology thickening products but Boots had them on sale and I had just ran out of my current haircare so I though I would pick them up!

My hair has become quite limp and lifeless lately and I've been going into a panic because my hair is also getting thinner ... and so I've been on the hunt for the perfect shampoo and conditioner to bring it back to life! So far I have used the Lee Stafford Hair Growth line and the Caffeine Shampoo from Alpecin both of which I felt were so and so, let me know if you would like a more in depth review of them. Back to Fibrology I have been using it for about two weeks now and I'm a bit 50/50 on it. After a few uses I can feel the thickness in my hair which is amazing ... although it doesn't look too different at the moment but I guess its going to take more than two weeks for that. Another plus is that it smells heavenly! Its a citrusy/sweet scent that lingers in your hair after you've washed which is super good for something you can get quite cheap! Now for the not so good bits ... it's really drying. I don't know about you guys but the conditioner normally moisturises my hair after shampooing but after leaving the shower you can feel that your scalp is quite dry so that's quite a disappointing factor for me. Fortunately I have a way around this, honestly the results of the instant thickness was too good for me to just give up on this product and so I take extra measures to boost the moisture back into my hair! Once I've blow dried my hair I pop some coconut oil in, at the moment I am using one from The Body Shop there's a little review here if you want to have a nose! But in short it is a life saver, it's perfect to add a huge boost of moisture back in to your hair if it's feeling dry. Not only that it leaves it feeling super soft and shiny! Using these products together has made a massive difference to my hair but if I had not have used the coconut oil I don't think I would buy the shampoo and conditioner again because I think it's important to keep your hair healthy. If you guys have tried the Fibrology range leave a comment below with your thoughts I would love to hear your opinions!

THE DUNE PEAVIE

Whats this? A mid-week post! And it's all because something amazing happened this week ... a while ago I uploaded 'The New Bag' and one of my choices was this gorgeous Holdall from Dune called Peavie! Well guess who has one ... yep it's me, courtesy a very special and super amazing friend! Honestly some people might think I'm a bit odd but I was so excited ... like squeeling jumping up and down in a car park excited. #EnoughSaid ... Anyway here are a few photos of me and the bag. First things first *i'm the realest* ... I am in no way a model or think of myself as one but I thought it would be nice for you guys to see someone holding the bag.

The Outside - The bag is a gorgeous dark chocolate leather with brushed metal hardware. The statement part of the bag is the woven front panel which is what really caught my eye when I first spotted it in the St. Pancras Dune store. Layered on top of this is a really cute luggage tag ... don't think I'll use it for its purpose but it looks good! The bag comes with a shoulder strap which you can pop on if you don't want to carry it.

The Inside - The bag is lined inside with a brown fabric, I love how they've used the same colour because it keeps the tone of the bag and keeps it quite sophisticated. Inside is quite basic but spacious which is super good for me, it means I can pop everything I need for the day inside ... let me know if you want me to do a 'What's In My Bag'. There's also a small zipped compartment perfect for little bits that might get lost inside.

So! There you have it! I now have a new bag and believe me I am super happy with it. Next on my agenda is finding a warm winter coat to go with it, let me know if you guys have any suggestions! Big thanks to Rikhil  (click on his name for his Instagram ... he's really good) for taking the photos of me and Sarah for the bag of my dreams!

THE JEWELLERY FAVOURITES - NECKLACES

Happy Sunday Everyone! So I've just bought one of those super handy accessory hangers, mine is a black velvet one from Primark. I think it was something like £2 so it's super cheap and such a good way to organise and store your necklaces, bracelets and rings. For ages I just popped all of my jewellery in this old box I bought from Paperchase but everything got tangled together or even worse I would forget to put it in the box and then I would lose it! So the hanger has literally been a life saver for me! Whilst I was hanging everything up I though it would be quite nice to show you guys what my favourites are!

So this first one was bought a long time ago and it was one I found whilst I was cleaning out the shed ... don't ask how it got there. I bought this from Topman, I tend to get most of my jewellery from there because I really love the range of things they have in there! Now I'm pretty sure this was called The Shard but I don't think it's something they have anymore. I got this when I was away on a weekend break in London. I think it was from their flagship store ... and wow is that place massive! They had a whole section dedicated to accessories and jewellery. It has a gunmetal chain with gold hardware, it then goes down to the shard piece which is an acrylic gem! I really love the length of this necklace. It doesn't overpower the outfit you have on but the shard definitely catches your eye!

This next one was actually a piece I had designed for a Prim and Propa collection which unfortunately was never released. But I loved it so much I decided to keep it and add it to my collection of jewellery! I used some black round leather cord to create the knot effect, its something I learnt back in school! Everyone was making scoobies and that's actually the technique I used .. it was the loom band of my time! Once I got to a quarter of the way round I began adding some super cheap washers I picked up from a hardware store. I used the ten smaller ones and then six of the larger ones towards the front! The necklace was designed to be a choker but once I had decided I wanted it instead I added in a few more chain links to add a little bit more length. It sits just below the neckline of my t-shirts or just under the collar of my shirts!

I wear this next chain more than any of my other ones and there's two reasons for that! One of them is that it is so simple and understated that it works with all of my tops. Second and more importantly it was a Christmas present from one of my best friends! It's a really cool dirty gold colour and because its not gold gold it goes really well with a lot of things. It was also featured in my very first post 'The Photo That Started It All' I'm currently going through a gold phase and so I'm getting a lot of wear out of this beauty! I have quite a lot of chunky statement pieces but I love how delicate this necklace is. I definitely want to add more like this to my collection!

This one is more of a recent purchase I bought it to go with this amazing red tartan tee I bought from New Look! It came with another chain which was a short gold chain with a triangle piece but it was a really cheap looking gold and really short so I just wear this one on its own. Like the first one it has a gunmetal chain with a gold chevron piece! ... There's a bit of a theme here! The chevron has this nut/bolt detailing which has been engraved! Now although I would say its a statement piece its not massive and so isn't too much ... I like to wear my jewellery and not my jewellery to wear me lol.

This final one again is something I designed for Prim and Propa, this was created for a launch event and I think I only made three ... one of which I kept for myself! I absolutely love this necklace and whenever I wear it I get quite a few compliments! It's made from an old Dr. Martens show string and also some silver hardware. I used some small silver washers and nuts to create the bulk of the necklace but it wasn't quite enough so I also added some spikes! Unfortunately I don't get to wear this much because it doesn't go with everything ... *sad face* ... but that's okay because it makes it feel more special when I do get to wear it!!

Hope you guys have enjoyed having a read of my Fave Necklaces! I would love to hear if you guys have any staple pieces of Jewellery that you tend to go back to! Share your blog posts or leave a comment for me!

THE 15 RANDOM QUESTIONS TAG

Happy Sunday Everyone! So I was a little bored and thought I would do a little tag for you all! Hopefully this will give you guys a bit more of an insight into my weird little life! I would love to hear from you all and so I tag all of you lovely people, share your posts or leave your answers below. Enjoy!

1. How did you get your Blog name?
So this is quite a weird one, It took me a really long time to come up with Prim and Propa. For ages I wanted to call my Blog Puppet ... Don't ask! But I was sat on my lunch with one of my old managers and he acctually suggested the name, now I'm pretty sure he was being sarcastic but I loved it! So, Lee, If you're reading this .. Thank You!

2. If you could change your name to anything, what would it be and why?
I actually really like my name, I've never heard anyone called Primal before so it makes me feel quite special! So I wouldn't really want to change my name ... sorry lol.

3. If you could go back in time and give your younger self advice, what would it be and why?
Things are gonna get a bit deep ...
I'm a pretty confident person on the outside but anyone who knows me will tell you that I am quite the opposite on the inside. I used to be bullied quite a lot and I think that's where many of my insecurities come from, but I've learnt to love myself for who I am. So I would probably tell myself to be more confident and not let anyone put you down ... Bullies if you're out there #ScrewYou

4. How old were you when you first learned to blow a bubblegum bubble?
OMG, this used to be the ultimate challenge for me! I don't remember how old I probably younger than 10. But I did it! The best bubblegum to blow a bubble with is Hubba Bubba! Apple flavour is my fave!

5. What did you want to be when you were little?
I really wanted to be a singer! I still kind of do ... I am not the best singer out there but I can hold a tune! I think the first time I realised this was when my music teacher put me up for a role in the school musical for Grease! I loved it so much ... Thanks Mrs Oughton!

6. What do you order at starbucks?
Caramel Coffee Frappucino with Whipped Cream!

7. What's the hardest you ever laughed?
There are way too many times to answer this question! But believe me there have been SOO many times where I have laughed so hard that my cheeks begin to hurt.

8. If you could play any musical instrument, which would it be and why?
When I was back in secondary I was learning to play a Guitar, I stopped after a year or so but I would love to be able to play Guitar or Piano!

9. What's your favorite thing to do when your upset?
A meet up with my friends can normally turn my frown upside down, but if they're not close by a good cheesy movie and some ice-cream normally do the trick!

10. What's your favorite movie?
Again waaay to many! But I love anything funny with a side of cheese!

11. What's one food you can not live without?
Chocolate.

12. What's your favorite dessert?
Lemon Meringue Sundae from Zizzis! Mmmmm Yeah!

13. Favorite pizza topping?
Cheese!

14. Would you rather have the superpower to read minds, or the superpower to be invisible?
Invisibility for sure! Think of the things you could do!

15. What did you do for your last birthday?
Lots of lovely meals with lots of lovely people, Shopping and also a night out on the town! A good combination for any Birthday!

THE SKINCARE REVIEW - BULLDOG

Hello everyone! So i'm recovering from last week still and its super evident in my skin. I don't know if anyone else experiences the same thing but my skin tends to go really bad when i'm not feeling too good. I've always tried to take really good care of my skin and I've been a bit lucky really. My mum has amazing skin and I guess that's been passed down but that doesn't mean I don't need to look after it. Taking care of your skin is super important, I think it always used to be a bit odd for Men to walk into a drugstore and pick up some skincare ... but the world has moved on! Men take just as much pride in their skin as women do. So over the week when I found my skin becoming a bit dull I made a trip to Boots and picked up some Bulldog Skincare for Men ... I may have gone a bit wild *shhh!*

Original Moisturiser - Before this I was using the Boots Botanics Oil Free Moisturiser and I really enjoyed using it so I wasn't sure what I was going to get with this one but it was just as good if not better! It has a thick consistency but really melts into the skin which means you don't need to use a lot. It tends to stay wet for a little while but sets in quite quickly once you've applied it. It also smells amazing so bonus points right there!

Original Eye Roll-On - Now this is one of my most favourite products from the line, I have always seen these available for women but men get dark circles too! So I put this in my basket without a second thought and I was not disappointed! I have been using this for less than a week but the results are already noticable ... to me this is a miracle product! I apply it in the morning and also before I go to bed.

Original Face Wash - I tend to use this one in the morning, I don't always have time to do a proper scrub so I use the Face Wash instead. The gel warms whilst lathering and is packed with green tea. This really helps give the skin a good cleanse in the morning and clears away any debris.

Original After Shave Balm - I've never really bothered with an aftershave balm before but it was on offer so I picked it up. Its super rich and really calms the skin after shaving, you don't realise but shaving is a real work out for your skin and it can sometimes agitate the skin. This is packed with Chamomile, Cucumber and Green tea so its really good for you and it works!

Original Face Scrub - The gritty consistency in this really helps budge all the dirt that has piled onto the skin after a long day. I use this before cleansing the skin to give it a good clean. The scrub has pumice and coconut shells and so isn't as harsh on the skin.

As you can see there is a wide selection on offer and I really was not disappointed, I don't really go back to the same products time and time again because I like to try out new things but I was so impressed with the Eye Roll-On it is most definitely something I will be purchasing again. Let me know if you guys have tried any of these products or if there's anything else that you guys would recommend.
