THE RIVER ISLAND HAUL

Happy Sunday Everyone! So I has planned to type up an ASOS haul tonight however things went horribly wrong. I've been waiting for my order for days and well ... let's just say I'm not a happy bunny! Because I've been so marry over the past few days I decided some retail therapy was the only way to make me feel better!

My brother needed to head to River Island to pick up a fee bits and it was kind of a spur of the moment kind of thing! I was waiting for him outside the changing rooms and there was this gorgeous lightweight grey duster coat, screaming at me ... 'BUY ME'! Now I normally don't shop in stores anymore as they never seem to stock my size and then I end up feeling sorry for myself and crying in the changing rooms! HAHA! But they actually had my size! I threw it on and literally fell in love! And it was in the sale, I mean it was just so meant to be. I also had some gift cards that I got from my bestie and her boyfriend ... thanks guys! I had another £10 left to spend so I picked up this silver and rose gold pendant necklace! I went to the tills and told myself that was enough. I feel much better after all the ASOS drama and I didn't need anymore! I'll just wait here patiently for my brother to finish paying but no ... The fashion gods had another idea. I'm not being funny but hats really aren't my thing! They just don't look right on me! But this Fedora I picked up didn't look half bad! I went straight back to the tills before I could talk myself out of it. I tried it all on when I got home and I felt so 'London' ... I don't even know if that makes sense but I did!

Hope you guys love what I got as much as I do! I can't wait for the perfect opportunity to get my hat out! Let me know if you guys have found any goodies in the sale! Have a lovely week and I'll be back on Friday for another Insta-Diary!

THE FASHION TAG

Happy Sunday Everyone! Not too long ago a good friend of mine introduced me to 'Caroline Rebecca', she has a fabulous blog, I've been reading it over the past few days and it's definitely one of my favourite blogs at the moment. She recently published 'The Fashion Tag' on her blog and Jamie sent me over a cheeky tweet as she knew I would love it! I believe the tag was originally seen on Anna Saccone's blog! Who's blog I also love reading! I thought it was only right for me to join in and do the tag too! Enjoy!

How Would You Describe Your Style?
I think my style is quite eclectic, I like to take things that are quite daring but pair it with something quite simple? Kind of like my cape? I remember when I first got it, I thought it was quite out there and definitely flamboyant! But I always wear it with a plain tee and some jeans. That way I tone down the outfit! I've also recently bought a 'Crackle Print Kimono'! But again I always pair it with the basics!

What Are Your Wardrobe Staples?
Because of my style I have a lot of different things on my rail. I would definitely say Chelsea Boots are a massive staple for me, purely because you can pair it with just about anything! Colour wise I have a lot of Blacks, Greys and Blues! I don't really have a massive amount of print on anything, It's all quite basic but then again I have those little pieces that make my outfits pop!

Most Expensive Item In Your Closet!
Okay, so I admit I do spend a lot of money on fashion but that's a lot of money on a lot of pieces? I don't really spend a lot of money on individual items. Although for the winter I did treat myself to 'The Overcoat' from ASOS which was £100! That's definitely the most I've spent on anything!

Most Wanted Item?
Erm! I don't have anything special that I have my eye on at the moment, I have an ASOS wish list that's ever growing but nothing special!

Favourite Designer?
Alexander McQueen ... Obviously!

How Much Do You Spend On Clothes?
Quite a bit ... I'm terrible when it comes to spending money on clothes! I think I can easily get through £100 a month on clothes!

Where Are Your Favourite Places To Shop?
Topman, River Island, Burton ... but my all time fave place to shop from is most definitely ASOS!

Favourite Fragrance?
I'm actually looking for a new fragrance at the moment! I'm currently using Versace Eros which is an absolutely beautiful scent but I really want to switch things up!

What's Your Favourite Way To Do Your Hair?
I've done two tutorials on how I do my hair which you can read here and here! Either of the two are actually how I love doing my hair!

What Is Your Go To Outfit When You Have No Idea What To Wear?
Easy! Skinny Jeans, T-Shirt and a Longline Cardigan with Chelsea Boots!

One Fashion Trend You Wish Would Come Back Or Stay?
I love the evolution of Fashion, I love how things are changing everyday and I wouldn't really want to mess with that! So I would probably keep everything as it is!

Your Most Prized Possession In Your Wardrobe!
This is a tough one because I love everything in my wardrobe! I have so many different things it's hard to just chose one! If I love something a little bit more than anything else it's probably popped up on my Instagram somewhere!

I hope you guys enjoyed this tag! Be sure to check out 'Caroline Rebecca' and her version! I'd love it if you guys would join in on the fun and do your own version too! Be sure to let me know if you've done one! Hope you guys have a lovely week and I'll see you on the next one!

THE SECOND BIRTHDAY

Happy Sunday Everyone! I gave myself a little break last week, I hope you don't mind! But every now and then I just don't feel quite there and I truly believe that you should enjoy those few moments when you think about typing up a new blog post. If this was any other day I don't think there would be a post this week but it's a very special day for me and this little world I've created. It's our second Birthday!

When I started this blog I wasn't really sure which direction I was heading in, and really apart from a few posts I can't honestly say I was 100% happy with them. This past year has really been a turning point for my blog. I've found that I don't really want to restrict myself to what I can or cannot write about. But most of all I've discovered that my blog is somewhere I can run away to if I'm ever having a bad day. And I don't mean that in a vain way, but a lot of my favourite memories have been captured here and I love coming back to them every now and then. I really do hope 2016 is going to be an exciting year for 'Prim And Propa', and I want to take this time to thank all of you out there who have shared this little world of mine. I love you all very much ... here's to another year of making memories!

THE MOST LOVED #2015

Happy Sunday Everyone and Happy New Year! I can't believe that it's now 2016! How crazy fast did this year go ... its crazy right? So much has happened in this year but a big part of my year has been with the growth of my Blog! My Blog is something I hold very close to my heart and it honestly means so much that I've got so many lovely people from around the world that are constantly joining this lovely community! I thought I would try something new for the New Year, so this week I'm bringing you my favourite posts of 2015!

I think this post was my very first fashion post, in terms of my own fashion and style! I remember feeling like a right idiot standing in my garden all dressed up! And I was stupidly nervous when it first went live! But I was so happy with it once it was up! It really was a milestone for 'Prim and Propa'! I can't wait to think of new fashion posts to type up for you guys! You can read the full post here!

This was another first for my Blog! I remember doing this post as a super last minute kind of thing, you can tell because of the bags underneath my eyes haha! But I actually really enjoyed doing this kind of post! I did in fact do another hair routine later in the year! You can read the full post here!

This post is actually the most read post on my Blog ever! And along with that this is also actually my favourite moisturiser of the year! I've gone through about 4 tubs of this amazingness and I know this is going to be a skincare staple throughout 2016 too! You can read the full post here!

When I originally started my Blog I used to think about what people would like to read first but in 2015 I changed that. I wanted to make sure I enjoyed what I posted and more importantly I wanted to be able to look back at my posts and think of it like a diary! So when I went to my first concert I wanted to write something about it, that way I can look back at all the fun I had! You can read the full post here!

Another first for my Blog was 'The Food Diary', I've seen a lot of blogs do food reviews but in all honesty I never really saw my blog going in that direction. However I eat food, I love food and so I thought I would do a new series whenever I went out! I haven't really done a lot of these posts but I do hope this year gives me the opportunity to do more of them! You can read the full post here!

This posts is high up in my all time favourite posts, mainly because it was one of my only 'holidays' in 2015! I want to make sure I do a lot more travelling this year! But I'm so glad I did take this trip! And I love that I typed up a post on the day I spent with my lovely friends in Brighton! One of my many memories of this day was walking for what seemed like forever from the Brighton Pier to the Marina! You can read the full post here!

The Next Factor was one of the highlights of my year! I shared the stage with one of my closest friends as we sang our way to victory! I remember this night being a rollercoaster of emotions and I still get goosebumps when I read this post! You can read the full post here!

This day out was planned as a birthday treat for my bestie! I had never been to the safari park before this day but we had so much fun! Many selfies were attempted with the animals, we watched a seal try and chase away a ghost and I got very very wet on the water rides! These kinds of diary posts are quickly becoming my favourite! You can read the full post here!

Probably my favourite fashion post of the year! I spent so much time on this post with the styling, shoot, editing etc! But it was so worth it! This post had a great response and it was completely overwhelming. I'm not overly confident and so posts like these make me quite nervous! But I love doing them! You can read the full post here!

There's nothing I love more than a good old boogie! Throw in a few celebs and a load of amazing friends you have The Christmas Party! This was such a fabulous and glamorous night ... magical too if you count all the Harry Potter look-a-likes! You can read the full post here!

Before I say goodbye I just want to say a massive thank you for all your support throughout this year! I hope 2016 is an even bigger and better year for all of us!
