THE LUSH HAUL - VALENTINE EDITION

Happy Sunday Everyone! The month of love is round the corner and all the shops have started stocking the shelves with Valentine Cards, Teddies and Roses. However I am more interested in the brand new Lush collection for Valentines day! This is the first time I've ever really bought anything from this collection, I normally just pop in every now and again for a bath bomb or a fresh face mask. But I just couldn't stop myself, the display was just too pretty! I had to! You guys seemed to love my last Lush haul so I got out my camera and thought I would do a little post for you! Enjoy!

The first thing I picked up was a Heart Throb Bubbleroon! Now I had to ask the assistant what a bubbleroon was because I had no idea! She explained that you can break the heart in two and use it twice which I think is amazing! The Heart Throb smells amazing and is packed with organic shea butter and essential oils. The bubbleroon is just like the bubble bars, you simply crumble it under some running water and it fills your bath with soft bubbles! Not to mention it turns the bath water into a bright passionate red!

I've heard so many good things about the Lip Scrubs from Lush and I've always wanted to try one, so when I saw that Lush had released a limited edition scrub for Valentines day I had to pick it up. I tried the scrub out yesterday because my lips were getting super dry and flaky because of the weather and oh my does it smell heavenly! Its not a miraculous product but I think it definitely helps remove the dead skin. The Kiss is packed with Caster Sugar, Sea Salt, Edible Red Hearts and Hundreds and Thousands! A word of warning it takes every fibre in your being to not eat this! Haha!

You can't really see in the picture but this bath bomb is mahoosive! The lovely assistant described the Love Locket as a Kinder Egg and this is because you can break the bomb in half to find a second bath bomb! The Love Locket transforms your bath water into a warm soft baby pink. It has quite a sweet and floral scent which comes from the Vanilla and Jasmine. The smaller heart shaped bath bomb which you can use separate or with the other half is filled with small pink and purple agar hearts!

The next thing I picked up was the Prince Charming Shower Gel, I'm still working my way through the Snow Fairy Shower Gel which I picked up on my last Lush Haul but I thought I would pick this up for when it runs out, or even just to switch things up a little! This little beauty smells like a smoothie and summer, thats the best way to describe it! I think this will be my go to in summer, the scent is made with grapefruit, sandalwood and geranium oils! If you've read my blog for a while you'll know I am obsessed with grapefruit! Prince Charming also has hints of marshmallow, pomegranate and vanilla!

The last thing I picked up was another bubble bar, Lonely Heart. I was a tiny bit reluctant to get this beacuse it is covered with glitter! And the last thing you want is to cleaning little parts of glitter off the bath when you're trying to have a relaxing evening. But I've been told that the glitter melts and dissolves in the bath so hopefully it'll all be good! The bubble bar turns the water into a bright red just like the bubbleroon I bought. It has a very floral scent and is packed with lemongrass, bergamot, jasmine and ylang ylang!

Hope you guys enjoyed this post! Let me know if there's anything else that you've picked up in lush that you've been loving or if you've done a blog post on any lush bits leave a link in the comments below! I'd love to have a read!

THE NEW GLASSES

Happy Sunday Everyone! Tragedy struck on Thursday, Yep! I broke my glasses ... now don't panic, I spent most of the day in contacts and I did manage to fix them ... kind of. I bought some good old super glue and forced them back together. I've had my glasses for a few years now and I absolutely love them, they're from the Gok Wan range at Specsavers. It took a lot for me to get these because at the time I was wearing some pretty mundane glasses and compared to my old ones these are completely out there! But the inner diva in me needed this pair. There was a slight worry because the frame is quite round and I was nervous that it was going to emphasise the roundness of my face shape. However the moment I put them on ... they just felt right you know?

When my glasses broke I began to panic because I don't have a back up pair, in fact I haven't even thought about picking up a pair as a back up until now! With that in mind I was straight onto the Specsavers website to see what they had to offer ... and I was not dissapointed! The price range of the frames are fantastic they have budget frames from as low as £25 but they also offer the higher end brand if you wanted to splash a little more! I've had a look through all the black frames they offer for men and I was really surprised at the variety they have online! I know I want quite a prominent frame and so the larger frames definitely stuck out for me! Here's what I found!

DINO - I consider these frames to be an absolute bargain, I am yet to see any of these frames in the flesh so I may completely change my mind but from the photos they all look pretty good! You can get a pair of Dinos for just £45! They are a black rectangular frame and I absolutely love them!

FLEXI 80 - These frames come at a higher price of £99 but oh my how beautiful are they! I'm used to having a thicker frame so I'm not sure how these would look on me but I absolutely love the style. The front of the frames have a shiny black finish with a keyhole bridge. The sides are made from a flexible metal which is supposed to boost the comfort factor!

BO 0088 - These are the first higher/designer brand frames I came across on the site from Boss Orange, they are £125 so definitely something to look at if you are willing to spend a little extra. The frame on this is super thick which really draws me in! I think these would be amazing to wear and can't wait to see what they look like on! The frame has a wood like grained texture which isn't something I've seen much of!

KL 05 - The first of two frames that I spotted from the Karl Lagerfeld section on the website, these super quirky frames are £125. I've looked at a few tortoise shell frames and these are one of my favourites! Although they are super out there! I absolutely love the angular shape of the frame ... not too sure on how I feel on the silver sides though. I think they would look amazing if they were tortoise shell all over!

EOT BEHOLDER - These chunky frames are from a brand called Cheap Monday which I haven't really heard of before but I love the range they have! At £99 you can get this frame in black or tortoise shell. Again I would need to try them on to see how they look but I would get either of them! They even have a little skull emblem on the sides!

KL 01 -  Last but not least are these second frames I saw in the Karl Lagerfeld section! Once again these designer frames come in at £125, they come in a black or a brown/grey gradient frame. I much prefer the black from the two, mainly because black goes with everything so they would be really easy to work with. The frames come with clear accents to add that little flare which I think is super cool!

The New Glasses

I'm at a bit of a loss and really need your help! I have no idea yet as to which frames I prefer from the bunch I saw online and so would I would really love to hear what you guys think! Let me know which ones are your favourite! Or even if there are any brands I should be looking at! Leave your comments below!

THE WISHLIST - THE BODY SHOP

Happy Sunday Everyone! Hope we're all doing well, I'm having the post Christmas blues ... sad face ... basically I really have the urge to go shopping. And the first on my list once I get paid is The Body Shop. I absolutely love going to there but I never buy much? I normally go in for a browse and then leave. I think it's because I don't take the time to familiarise myself with their products. But I've been hearing a lot of good things about some of their things and so I though I would do a little wish list post for you guys!

Body Shop Wishlist

WILD ARGAN OIL BODY BUTTER - I'm a little late to jump on the Argan Oil bandwagon but oh my does this stuff smell heavenly! One of my best friends Suki has a blog called Suki Scouts, she's done a post on most of the range which is here if you want to have a little read! But basically she's obsessed with the stuff and I can see .. well smell why! I love body butters anyway and I've previously bought the Grapefruit and Strawberry one before and once again I can't explain how amazing they smell! But they also leave your skin feeling super soft! I can't wait to get this little beauty in my life!

VITAMIN E LIP CARE SPF15 - Lip care is a bit of a new one for me from The Body Shop, I've never really considered making a trip for some lip balm but I have heard really good things about the Vitamin E range and the reviews on the Lip Care suggest amazing things! I'm currently using the Burts Bee's Grapefruit Lip Balm and if I'm honest I don't know if I'm gonna be blown away by this but I'm going to give it a try!

POMEGRANATE FIRMING AND REFRESHING EYE ROLL ON - If you guys have read my Bulldog Skincare Review you will know that I am absolutely in love with their Eye Roll-On! I don't have like massive bags under my eyes but it would be nice if they were brighter! I've heard the pomegranate have a lot of good properties when it comes to skincare so I'm super intrigued to see how I get a long with this plus I love the scent of pomegranate! My bulldog one is coming to the end of its life so I know it won't be long before this appears in my draw!

HONEYMANIA HAND CREAM - I feel like most of my reasons for things on here is how good they smell but seriously this stuff really does smell amazing! One of my lovely friends got a tube of this for Christmas and I tried it out and oh my! It's a little wet to begin with but that really encourages you to massage it into your hands, after it has sank in it leaves your hands feeling moisturised and soft. Just what you want from a hand cream! I've noticed that it lasts a good few hours as well. I like to use my soap and glory hand food a lot at work but it tends to wear off after a while.

SEAWEED IONIC CLAY MASK - I am a lover of face masks, especially when I'm having a relaxing night in! I've tried quite a few different face masks and I'm never really amazed by them ... unless its one from lush! But the reviews on this baby definitely make me feel like I'm missing out! Clay masks much like mud masks are really good at drawing out impurities in the skin and leave you feeling quite refreshed, mainly because they're quite cooling. I haven't had my skin professionally looked at but it's neither dry or super oily and this mask is apparently aimed at combination skin so I'm looking forward to see how I get on with this.

WILD ARGAN OIL RADIANT OIL - Over the years my hair has been through quite a lot and I'm currently working to bringing it back to its healthy self! If you've read my last Body Shop Haul you would have seen that I picked up the coconut oil to try and help my hair. If I'm completely honest it hasn't worked miracles ... don't get me wrong it's an amazing product and it made my hair soft and shiny just not what I hoped it would do. I might be way off and be in search of a product that doesn't exist. I want my hair to look and feel healthy and a lot of people have recommended Argan Oil to help do this! I've read up on the stuff and it all looks quite positive, both for my hair and also my skin!

Hope you guys have enjoyed this little post! Let me know if you would like any reviews on any of the items in this post and I will be more than happy to put one up for you! Also I would love to know if you guys have tried anything from my wish list, let me know how you guys got along Hope you guys have a lovely week and I'll be back next Sunday for another post!

THE NEW YEARS RESOLUTIONS

Happy Sunday Everyone! Hope you guys have all had an amazing year ... I know most people at this time of year go down the 'New Year, New Me' road and I hate to be super cliche but I am most definitely one of those people! Every year I stray away from this but there's no harm in setting some goals in life is there? Now I do get that I'm probably going to fail at most of them but I am really going try and stay positive this year. Here's are a few of my New Years Resolutions.

ONE - I've struggled with my weight for a while now and it's not something that really gets me down but I would be lying if I said that I'm completely happy with my size, this is probably one of the resolutions that is on everybodys list. I'm not saying that I plan to lose a huge amount of weight because lets face it, I really would be setting myself up for failure but what I would like to do is start thinking about my body more. I've joined the gym and I plan to go at least three times a week and I'm gonna try and eat better too. Again I'm not gonna go crazy and say no to everything but I'm just gonna eat less of the bad and more of the good!

TWO - The last time I went on holiday was a year and a half ago and I had the time of my life! This year I really want to go on holiday again! I'm not too fussed where, as long as the company is good any trip away would be amazing! Although if I were too chose where I would love to visit Rome, Paris, Bali or Greece! I won't be able to visit all four but one or two is my goal!

THREE - Get a MacBook! I'm currently typing this on a laptop that is on its deathbed and so I really want to get a new one! I'm not sure if I'm after a pro or an air but I am dead set on it being a Mac. Most of my friends are designers and they all rave on about how good they are. And with me being into blogging I really would like something that I can continue to design on. Let me know which one you guys would recommend!

FOUR - Following on from the last one I would really like to get back into designing! I used to do lots of sketches and sometimes even whip up a few pieces and I really would like to get back into that again! I think I'm going to take a trip into paperchase and get myself a new sketchbook! Ooh! I also want to start crocheting again and make myself a new scarf!

FIVE - I am an Instagram fiend! Honestly I think I have a problem, but I want to take more pictures this year and capture more memories! I love how photos can take you back instantly, although I take a lot of photos I don't print them which is something I really want to start doing. I miss the days when you used to stumble across an old pile of photos and just sit there going through them!

SIX - Last but not least is to continue being myself and be happy. Over the last few years I have grown confident in who I am and I want to continue growing through this year. It's so important to me to spend time with the people that make me happy and I want to make sure that I take more time out this year to do just that!

Let me know if you guys have any resolutions this year! Leave your comments or blog posts in the comments below, I would love to have a read!

THE NEW YEARS EVE OUTFIT

Happy 2015 Everyone!! Just want to quickly say a massive thank you for all the support from all of you lovely people over the last year, It honestly means so much to me! Today I bring you the last outfit post of the week and its the big one! New Years Eve is always a big night for fashion but I think it can get a bit boring for Menswear. You mainly see a lot of suits and shirts and as much as I love the tailored look I don't think it works for my shape. I wanted to be quite smart but still have that pop of me and so I went for this! Now I did try and take one of my snazzy outfit layout pictures but the alcohol must still be in my system because I just couldn't get it quite right haha! So instead here's some abstract outfit selfies I took last night ... Enjoy!

I went for Black Skinny Jeans and a Black tee to keep things clean and simple, everyone knows I love black, it works with everything not to mention it can make you look a tad slimmer! To elongate my frame I wore my  Black Chelsea Boots! I think I am officially obsessed with these boots, they look amazing and to top it all off they are super comfortable! Because I wanted to keep things quite simple I wore the statement gold chevron chain which featured in my Jewellery Favourites! Now it was time for the pop of prim! I bought this back in February for my Birthday and I absolutely love it! It's a red acid wash denim shirt except its more of a reddy purple colour! I think it worked really well with the rest of the outfit, kept the outfit really clean but still had the flare about it! Hope you guys had an amazing night whatever you got up to, let me know what you guys wore on the big night! Leave your comments below!
